Free grooming help for dogs who desperately need it
Some dogs come to us matted, itchy, and miserable because their families simply can’t afford a groomer. Crystal fixes that — free — for families in our community who are doing their best.
Who it’s for
Families who can’t afford it
This is the rescue’s community-help program: free grooming for dogs that desperately need it, whose families can’t afford a groomer right now. Smaller dogs are easiest for us, and Yorkies are Crystal’s specialty — but we’ll help other dogs too when we can. Donations to the rescue help buy the clippers, blades, and shampoos that make it possible; they burn out fast when they’re working for free.
What Crystal does
The full works, gently
- Full grooming — bath, cut, and nails
- Flea baths for dogs who’ve been scratching raw
- Conditioning baths for dry, matted, neglected coats
- Patient hands — senior and nervous dogs get extra time, not extra stress
