Adopt a rescue dog
Rescue dogs who’ve been vetted, groomed, loved, and honestly evaluated — matched with families who’ll love them back. When we have a dog ready, this is where you’ll find them.

No rescue dogs are available today
Our newest rescues, Pepper and Little Bit, are seniors in the middle of their vet care — not adoptions. When a rescue dog is ready for a forever home, they’ll be listed here first. Join the waiting list below and we’ll reach out when the right dog comes in. And if you have a dog who needs help, our rehome help page is the door.
How adoption works
Honest dogs, honest handoffs
- Vet-checked first: every adopted dog leaves with a clean bill of health and shots up to date
- Groomed by Crystal: a full groom, nails included — free on every adopted animal, always
- Told straight: you’ll hear the weak areas that need continued training before you decide, not after
- Fair fees: adoption fees are cost recovery only — message us for details on any specific dog
- We stay reachable: Eric & Crystal’s contact info goes home with every dog

About Gracie Mae
Our very first rescue, Gracie Mae, is a 13-year-old Yorkie Poo who came to us years ago and simply never left. She’s the grandma of the house and permanent family — you’ll see her in our stories, but she’s not adoptable. She’s home.
Want to see how rescue stories end around here? Nico, Sawyer, and Jensen found their people — take a look.
McCoy’s Animal Rescue exists to save every animal we come across that needs help — dogs, cats, chickens, pigs, ducks, geese, turkeys, rabbits, fish, and more — through rescue, rehabilitation, and adoption into loving homes.
